The Rothschild owned economist magazine said NVIDIA is AI's central bank. I think that company is given tons of free cash and it trickles down to other AI companies they invest in. When will spigot stop? I think maybe never.
I think it was mostly meant as a sensationalists headline or a few areas of similarity. NVIDIA isn't literally a central bank. I don't know where they would get free money from. The closest thing would be from investors who have extra free cash because of Fed printing. But then it's an actual central bank being a central bank.
If the Fed tightens it's belt then this would impact NVIDIA's ability to act as a "central bank" of AI. Really it's the Fed's cash flux channeling through banks, then investors, then NVIDIA, then others. Like heat, it really goes in every direction, but it can be said to be travelling in some primary directions.
You do gotta have a good headline. The fed reserve gives out free money to their member banks who loan out ten times what they have . This isn't tracked at all so it's likely way more than ten times. If someone has connections like their ceo they can get free money. The headline wasn't being literal of course. Why'd you share it anyway if you disagreed with it.
The government issues loans that companies don't repay, so the Federal Reserve has to keep printing more money to cover the shortfall. The companies are bailed out with more government money.
