It's the only imageboard with nested replies. The sidebar gives you a quick way to navigate the page you're viewing which other imageboards lack. Dynamic aggregation is very rare for imageboards. Simply the details of the UI that make browsing more convenient without relying too much on JS. And the combination of all these features in a single website is certainly unique. Imageboards are very much not for you. Different format, different culture. You will probably compare it to Lemmy or the like. I am in fact bringing a few of Reddit's features to imageboards, while maintaining the DNA of an imageboard. It is what I intended Lumoforum to be, which turned out a bit different from how I envisioned it.
Understandable. The site has the beige Yotsuba theme as opposed to the blue one specifically to signal NSFW. 4chan has all these separate boards and people intentionally click an NSFW one if they're okay with that. This website has all the boards aggregated so as a result, everyone is confronted with NSFW. I could fix that by aggregating only SFW boards on the homepage but I'm not a fan of hiding some of the boards while the website is so small. It has to grow first.
